About
My name is Wayne LeBlanc, and I am glad you dropped by for a visit. I am 61 years old, married to my second wife for twenty years; together we have six daughters ( the female Brady Bunch), sixteen grandchildren ( not enough- right), and my 83 year old mother ( God bless her she is still alive). Oh, I almost forgot my wife has MS (multiple sclerosis), which has graced us with its presences, for 15 years.
I hope you noticed in paragraph one I tend to be a little sarcastic at times. Well sometimes quite a bit, but it keeps me sane.
My wife tells me I am too modest but when I grew up you did not go around bragging about your accomplishments, and never discussed your finances with anyone but God. I have changed and my wife knows all about them now. I do not want you to feel I am totally old fashion.
So, here is my story or ego wall so to speak. I will go by decades, as it is easier.
1970′s – medic in USAF during Vietnam War but never went overseas. Worked on pediatric floor for four years and returned to college.
Received BS degree in 76 and MSW in 77 then worked as hospital social work in small community hospital till mid eighty.
1985 till 1993 – left social work, worked many odd jobs, and owned an auto body supply and business cards business, than worked maintenance in a time-share on Cape Cod.
1994 through 2002 – worked as a hospice social worker.
2002 through 2009 – bartender in country club.
That brings you up to date my long life. I am grateful for all the employments, which has given me experience in many different aspects of life, especially in the medical field with an emphasis on death and dying.
I would be amiss if I did not tell you I am an avid reader, who loves to swim, and I do hit the little white ball with my sticks once a week. The rest of the time, I am sort of busy.
